Mona was a born again Christian and her lifestyle showed it. She moved to Hamilton, Ohio at the age of 3 and attended N. 7th Street Church of Christ. She attended Hamilton Public Schools and graduated from Hamilton High in 1958. She then went to Milligan College where she met her husband Bob. They were married on September 2, 1960. The first of their daughters, Jenny, was born on December 7, 1961 and Julia was born on April 16, 1966.
She was a great mother to her daughters, raising them in the Church and in a relationship with Christ. She and her husband were instrumental in the early days of 3 Christian churches in Butler County, Ohio. She has taught Sunday School, VBS and has conducted several VBS. She loved to sing and had a beautiful voice and was a member of several singing groups. Mona’s ministry was hospitality, she always cooked for someone or a family, and if we had a minister or a family visiting, Mona was the first to open her house to house them. Mona loved the Lord and his people.
In her later years, Mona loved to travel and worship her grandchildren and later her great grandchildren.
We are here to celebrate Mona’s life and her love for the Lord.
