LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — No-apology early voting is scheduled to begin Thursday. It comes after the bills expanded Kentucky’s election access and security.
There are now four ways to vote in this election. The newest expansion is for in-person early voting, but there are also more days away in person, adding safe options to choosing whether to cast a ballot or go to the polls on Election Day.
“Before we only had one day, now we have 10,” Secretary of State Michael Adams told FOX 56.
The primary election is on May 17, but you can vote early on May 12, 13, or 14 at an early voting location with no excuse. Fayette County has one location, Kroger Field, and one mail-in ballot drop box location at the Fayette County Clerk’s Office.
Most counties will have at least one option for early voting or drop boxes, and these can be found on the Kentucky Elections Website.
